Felicity
Sterling silver necklace
2013
Designing Felicity was an act of joy. Felicity's flowing, curvilinear shape was initially inspired by the work of sculptor and jewelry designer Alexander Calder (1898-1976), yet ended up going in quite a different direction. The necklace is convertible; its three curvilinear parts may be worn together, in a pair, or individually. Felicity gives its wearer the opportunity to play. This necklace of many options is meant to enhance the psychological states its name evokes: joy and happiness.
Felicity is hand cut, hand soldered, and hand brushed; with a sterling silver chain.
